This was created for "Hopper Re-Imaginied" at the Edward Hopper House in Nyack, NY (on display April 2011). The idea was to make a work which was inspired by a Hopper painting. I drew from Hopper's House by the Railroad.

This was a pretty simple patch. The objective was to have modul8 be a layer in the system in real time. What a great piece of software.

These are my first experiments recorded in Jan 2008 on a Rutt/Etra scan processor.

Insomnia was recorded at the Experimental Television Center in three sessions in March, August, and September of 1984. There was another session in May none of the work of which was used. This came on the heals of Bug Eyed Ramrod. The two pieces used similar methods and both employed the CAT fame buffer (this is prior to building the Jones frame buffer).

Before the Flood is made up of recordings from at least 3 sessions at the Experimental TV Center. Before the Flood is a three part piece, the first movement was recorded in January 1985, the second movement in one or two sessions in February, and the third movement was recorded in March.

While living upstate and working at the Experimental Television Center, I had built a personalized video system which paralleled the ETC system. Black Dog Dreams was the first work which was created exclusively with this system, and not at the ETC.
